Hotel Puerta del Sol

Located in downtown David. We have not actually visited this hotel, but it has appeared to be highly recommended on trip advisor as well as by some of the locals here according to some internet research. Pacific Bay Resort

Residencial Panamericano

Located right on the Panamerican Highway, the main highway outlying the city. On the downside, rooms are fairly small and there is no restaurant on site but on the upside there is A/C, hot water, cable TV and private parking. Inexpensive - around $20-25 last we checked. They do accept credit cards and they're open 24 hours. Phone number is {011+}(507)774-3705 or 774-1709.

Restaurante y Cabanas Boca Brava

Or, as we, and everybody else, like to call it; "Frank's Place". They offer rooms with shared bathrooms or cabins with private bathrooms. Or probably even a hammock if you prefer! Great view from the upper deck of the restaurant. So far the least expensive lodging we've come across and definitely worth checking out! On the down side, they only accept cash (at least in the restaurant) and there are no ATM machines in the area, so, come prepared. Phone number is {011+}(507)700-0017. English is spoken.
